Ionisation Chamber for dose rate measurements

The LB 6701-H10 is an ionisation chamber and it is used for dose rate measurements in various radiation protection applications: dose rate probe for photon radiation in health physics applications.

The measured quantity is ambient dose equivalent H*(10) and ambient dose rate equivalent Ḣ*(10). The ionisation chamber is made from aluminium with a nitrogen gas filling at 10 bar and a radiation resistance up to 10⁶ Gy.

The ionisation chamber exists in different versions:

1. LB 6701L-H10 Low dose rate 10 µSv/h to 10 Sv/h

2. LB 6701H-H10 High dose rate 100 µSv/h to 100 Sv/h
