Our non-contact measurement solutions are able to determine components and their proportions continously – either in tanks, belts, pipes or other conveying and storage systems. The measurement is performed online and in real-time. As our systems for non-contact measurement are mounted outside of the process, they can even conduct measurements where it is impossible to use intrusive technologies (e.g. contacting probes).

Non-contact measurement with advanced radiometric technology

Our gauges for non-contact measurement use a gamma radiation field that is emitted from a shielded source. As the radiation passes through the container, the liquid inside absorbs a portion of it. A highly sensitive radiometric detector which is mounted at the opposite side of the vessel measures the attenuation. This method allows for a highly precise level monitoring – irrespective of factors like color, temperature, pressure or viscosity.
