During the continuous measurement of level, a radiation field is formed over the entire measuring range. As the level within the radiation field increases, more radiation is absorbed and a reduction in radiation level is detected. This gives the user reliable and accurate measurement results. Factors such as temperature, color, viscosity or chemical properties of the bulk material have no effect on the measurement results.
