There are application notes available for the following instruments:
Some of the most popular methods for protein quantification are BCA, Coomassie Plus (Bradford), and Lowry, and they are most often measured using a microplate absorbance reader. In this application note, we confirm that the Apollo offers good performance in all 3 methods. Furthermore, it is easy to program and performing the assays is simple and straightforward.
The Dual-Luciferase Reporter® (DLR™) Assay System from Promega is a popular commercial assay using firefly luciferase and renilla luciferase as reporters and has excellent performance on the Centro Luminometer.
The MycoAlert® and MycoAlert® PLUS Mycoplasma Detection Kits by Lonza, in combination with the Centro Microplate Luminometer, provide a fast, convenient, and reliable way to detect mycoplasma contamination.
The combination of the Quant-iT™ Picogreen® dsDNA assay and the Tristar microplate readers offers a fast, simple and accurate way to quantify DNA in your samples.
This publication confirms the suitability of the Tristar microplate readers to measure the NanoBRET™ assay, which is an improvement of the BRET technology resulting in increased signal and lower background.
The Dual-Luciferase Reporter® (DLR™) Assay System from Promega is a popular commercial assay using firefly luciferase and renilla luciferase as reporters. Promega’s DLR assay had been validated on the Tristar 3 multimode microplate reader.

Download nowRadio-HPLC is an essential method to assess the purity of PET radiopharmaceuticals. The usual NaI scintillator radiodetector requires heavy, costly and cumbersome lead shielding. The luminescence LB 500 fLumo detector has been developed to tackle these drawbacks and achieve high sensitivity. The fLumo uses a photon counting detector combined with a flow-through cell modified with a solid melton scintillator only sensitive to the positron. This study demonstrates the usefulness of the fLumo for analysis and purification of PET radiopharmaceuticals.
