In 1949, thanks to the pioneering work of Prof. Dr. Rudolf Berthold, a great success story began. At that time, no one could have imagined that the initial tinkering in the former Wildbad "Hotel kühler Brunnen" would lead to a remarkable development with many world-renowned top achievements.
Today, the more than 360 employees can be proud that their systems contribute to making industrial and biochemical processes safer, healthier and more efficient all over the world. With unparalleled expertise in nuclear technology and radiation protection, the name Berthold Technologies is recognized worldwide for its unique know-how.
The town of Bad Wildbad is proud that this company has its roots here - and that its "Headquarters of Technologies" is still located here in the Enz Valley. On behalf of the town, I would like to congratulate the management team and all employees who are celebrating 75 years of success and will continue to do so in the future.
