Simple and straightforward operation

The DuoSeries level switch measurement system consists of a scintillation detector – either the CrystalSENS point detector or UniSENS rod detector – and a sophisticated transmitter unit for display and operation. The transmitter is a state-of-the-art control unit with robust 3.5” TFT touch panel, a powerful dual-core CPU and various control options. Advanced self-diagnostics and monitoring features ensure the safe function of the system. Additionally, operators can utilize the data logging functions for detailed process analysis, allowing them to record trends and track process changes.

Protection from interfering radiation

Reliable measurements with X-Ray Interference Protection (XIP)​

The level switch measuring system DuoSeries LB 473 from Berthold is equipped with the proprietary X-Ray Interference Protection (XIP) feature, ensuring superior reliability in the face of external radiation interference. This advanced technology provides a stable output even in challenging environments where external radiation, such as during weld seam inspections or crosstalk from nearby measurement systems, could otherwise alter the output.
